***NOTE: We have extended the deadline for pledges until November 12th so we can count and gather new funds. We had many requests to extend the deadline. We obviously will still be accepting donations to the Money Bomb. We will release the total on November 20!

You may be asking yourself, "What is a Money Bomb?" Well, in simple terms, a Money Bomb is a fundraiser to gain financial momentum made up by the grassroots movement. It is meant as a "kickstart". Money Bombs have been used for political candidates, musicians, and even small business owners looking to generate enough money to start right.
Now you may be asking yourself, "Why is a church doing a Money Bomb?" Well here at Arise, we have not yet launched. We are also very grassroots in that we are not affiliated with any outside organization. All of our funding comes from the people. We are doing our Money Bomb the day before our launch to kickstart our church! Our goal is:

We are accepting pledges from now until November 12th, 2011. We will also take checks now so that the money can be accounted for the Money Bomb.
So here is what you can do. To pledge, fill out our pledge form HERE.
If you like to see life change and authentic faith in Jesus on Long Island, pledge and give to our Money Bomb! We have already baptized 13 total people here at Arise and we haven’t even launched yet! If you want to see this continue, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We will accept pledges, checks, and online giving toward the Money Bomb up until 11:59pm on November 12, 2011. Make checks payable to "Arise Community Church" and put "Money Bomb" in the memo. Please consider donating so we can reach our goal of $10,000 for our kickstart!

Our official launch day (our first service) was on October 2, 2011 at the Port Jeff Polish Hall, 10:15am and we had 80 people! We will have services every week from now on! If you want to see more life change on Long Island pray for us and pledge your hard-earned money today!
