Thanksgiving Food Drive

This year we are doing a food drive with specific items being brought in every week. If you are coming to church this week, bring with you a canned corn, canned green bean, canned soup, or other canned veggie to support those in the community who cannot have a Thanksgiving this year!

9/11 Memorial Service

There will be a 9/11 Memorial Service at the Port Jeff Train Car this Sunday, 9/11/2011, 11:00am, remembering the day many lives were lost and we stood united. Pastor Dan will be giving a short speech on the brave men who died, the country, and the faithfulness of Christ.

Arise Advance

The Arise Core Team will be going to Tuscarora Inn in PA this weekend for an "Advance" - like a retreat, except in military terms we are not "retreating", but "advancing". If you think that is really cheesy and stupid, we stole it from Steven Furtick, so blame him.

Arise Community Church had it's first Thanksgiving Food Drive and it was a total success! 31 families (185 people) on Long Island were served! Praise God! Check this out to read about the details!
